Inspired by one of Aotearoa's most recognisable native birds, the Pīwakawaka Hazy Pink Women's Crew brings together contemporary streetwear, Māori storytelling and locally embroidered detail.

Known for its distinctive fanned tail and almost constant movement through the ngahere, the pīwakawaka holds a special place in Aotearoa and within Māori pūrākau. Our original Cravass artwork draws on this connection to the ngahere, movement and storytelling, creating a design that carries meaning beyond the garment itself.

The original Pīwakawaka artwork is embroidered locally in Tauranga, giving the design texture, depth and lasting detail.

Made specifically in a women's cut, this crew has a relaxed fit with drop shoulders and a slightly shorter length through the waist, creating a modern silhouette without being overly cropped.

Constructed from a soft yet substantial 320 GSM cotton and recycled polyester fleece, it's an easy everyday layer designed for comfort while retaining the weight and quality you'd expect from Cravass.
